The Algonquin is a place for authentic human connection and enjoyment. We value privacy and community in a space that encourages inspirational exchange.
Photography, recording and use of mobile phones is not permitted in the club at any time. Please silence ringers and forward any urgent calls to the house phone. Personal calls are to be made in the Phone Nook. Designated event photographers may take photos but will only share them on our internal group web pages and only with permission.
Please await your guests at the club street entry and walk them in with your door code. Never share the club location or door code with anyone.
Posting any club information to any social media is not allowed by anyone.
When considering bringing a guest, it should be someone you know well and would completely trust to leave alone in your home. You are responsible for the behavior and tab of your guests.
Discussing business is welcome. Pitching business is not.
Smoking is allowed only on the smoking terrace and Quiet Conversation balcony. Please use ashtrays and be responsible with your waste.
Please use your “Indoor Voice” even when outdoors.
Exit the club briskly and silently. Do not linger and chat outside the front door. Consider our neighbors who are trying to sleep. Please make all your travel plans and say all farewells before leaving the club.
Except for special occasions, Last Call is 11pm, and doors close at 11;30. Kitchen hours are 12;30pm to 8:30pm, with snacks until 11:00.
Please take care of your club as you would your own home and help us keep it beautiful for years to come.
